Actors Training Studio London

To this day, many actors struggle with this concept within their actor training. StandBy Method Acting Studio is based in the heart of Sheffield City Centre, a 5 minute walk from Sheffield train station with plenty of local public transport passing by. Our studios are easily accessible to those acting students travelling further afield with the Parkway and M1 close by.
You can also go on to take a master's degree with an extra 1-year training in a specific genre of studies (classical acting, script writing, etc.). All this can add to your employability and allow you to branch out into other areas surrounding the arts.

You will be asked to perform a two-minute monologue of your choosing (classical or contemporary) and be interviewed about your interest in the course and your possible routes for development beyond graduating. There are also opportunities on these days to take part in a group workshop, meet the whole staff team, other students already on the programme and tour the facilities.
Professor Aldwyn Cooper, Vice-Chancellor of Regent's University London, wishes to recognise and reward three students each year who demonstrate particular acting workshops London commitment to upholding the University's values and the ability to play an ambassadorial role for the University during their studies.

Our three theatres give you the opportunity to work in industry-standard spaces: the Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre, a fully flexible theatre with 194 seats; the GBS Theatre, a studio theatre seating up to 70; and the Gielgud Theatre, an intimate studio space seating up to 50. All our acting and theatre production students will work in at least one of these theatres during their time at RADA.

The school offers around 36 places per year and potential entrants are expected to have attained a minimum of 64 UCAS points but the faculty is also looking for key attributes in their students, including self-awareness, commitment and an entrepreneurial spirit to create new work.
